The mission of the Lian Dante Foundation is working toward social justice and community equity through dignity, peace education and empowerment.
The vision of the Lian Dante Foundation is to create an empathic community characterized by broad awareness, appreciation, and acceptance of each individual’s uniqueness and value.

The team at the Lian Dante Foundation is comprised of a diverse group of volunteers who contribute their time, perspectives and experience in order to positively impact the lives of individuals, organizations and communities in the Greater Houston Area. Many of our core work is founded in Montessori principles and philosophy and expanded to reach ALL people in ALL walks of life.
Our group of experienced MSWs, LMSWs and LCSWs, supervise Social Work and Psychology interns from partner universities to ensure that interns and non-profit agencies in Houston benefit from paired experiential learning opportunities. We partner with many small Houston non-profits including schools and faith-based organizations, whose staff are already stretched thin and may not have the capacity or experience to supervise interns. Through our efforts, we are able to amplify these non-profits’ efforts by providing supervision for interns at all levels.
We are focused on enhancing the following areas of individual, organizational and community empowerment:
Embracing the strengths of ALL stakeholders
Social Justice and Peace Initiatives such as Lovescaping and the Alternatives to Violence Project
Mentoring and group facilitation for students, parents, educators and community members
Personal and professional coaching
Access to social service benefits through the Health and Human Services - TX Community Partner Program
Case management and home visits
Voter registration through VDVR services
Additionally, we provide a menu of services unique to our organization and designed to support the psycho-educational needs of individuals and communities.
